Publicity Updates

Today's Marin IJ picked up our publicity note for our season opener game. Bryce and Ryan C. are featured on page D2.

Mark Dittmer of the Novato Advance featured some great coverage for our league. Check out the Sports section of today's paper. Not only does it list highlights of our game, but there are some great photos of our kids as well.

NYSA U6 Coed League - Wolfpack vs Cheetas - Tuesday August 28th, 2007

As sent to the Novato Advance

Great nail biting game against the Cheetas. The Wolfpack's Julian Albert had several coast to coast moments as well as a goal. His teammate Tyler Nettelman followed up with 2 back-to-back goals.

Awesome Cheetas defense displayed by Ryan Loeber who stopped the Wolfpack from scoring several goals. Not to be outdone, Cheetas Ikaria Salvey showed off her fancy foot work by dribbling through the pack, showing us how well she handles the soccer ball.

NYSA U6 Coed - Season Opener: Cheetas vs. Scorpions August 26th, 2007

As mostly posted in the Novato Advance:

Fun season opening game between Cheetas and Scorpions. Cheetas Bryce Bernales and Ryan Cendak both score a Hat Trick. Other great footwork displayed by Bryce as he passed to Ryan Cendak, who then scored.

In addition to scoring, Scorpions player Adam provided great offensive attacks while teammate Alyssa displayed outstanding defensive skills.

But it was so much more!
A madhouse of activity for us this day. I heard a rumor that all the kids in Novato were at the NYSA Opening Day Soccer parade. Have you ever seen so much spirit, happy kids, let alone happy parents...just ready to kick off the new season? Sorry, had to say it.

I've posted some of our photos above (using photobucket.com) Again, feel free to post your comments, photos, videos...or if you prefer, you may send them directly to me to do.
